THIS December, the home of festive feasting in Liverpool is going back to its roots.
Across their three venues, the team at LEAF have revealed their Christmas menu offering, with the focus around shared starter and dessert platters framing a selectable main. So rather than a traditional set 3-course menu, LEAF are celebrating big and small get-togethers alike with the focus on socialising, celebrating and sharing together.
Two starter platter options are the Festive and Greek Meze, followed by six mains options: Rolled turkey; Braised beef feather blade; Baked herb crusted hake; Crispy fried squid; Kale and sweet potato pie; and open falafel and grilled halloumi flatbread. Each course comes with an abundance of appropriate trimmings. Then to finish, homemade mini treacle tart and mince pie truffle platters conclude the festive feasting.
Plans are almost complete for LEAF, OH ME OH MY’s and ONE FINE DAY’s wider festive plans including Santa’s Meet And Greet making a return, Christmas crafting and festive Pudding Clubs, through to OH ME OH MY hosting Christmas Afternoon tea sessions.

FESTIVE PLATTER
Maple glazed pigs in blankets, apple and sage arancini, mini goat’s cheese and mulled cranberry eccles cake, duck and chicken leg rillette, truffle hummus and focaccia crostini.
GREEK MEZZE PLATTERS
Hummus, tzatziki, olives, falafel, chick pea and feta parcels, Greek salad and toasted breads.
MAINS
ROLLED TURKEY
Filled with dried fruit and chestnut seasoning, pigs in blanket, home-made jus, traditional trimmings.
BRAISED BEEF FEATHER BLADE
Creamy cabbage and pancetta, truffle roasted potatoes.
BAKED HERB CRUSTED HAKE
Braised medley winter vegetable and lentil champagne velouté.
CRISPY FRIED SQUID
Thai vegetable and wild rice salad, soy and chilli dressing.
KALE & SWEET POTATO PIE
All the traditional festive trimmings.
OPEN FALAFEL AND GRILLED HALLOUMI FLAT BREAD
Tabbouleh, pomegranate, fresh mint and roasted vegetables, tahini and herb mayonnaise.
