With an impressive selection of premium cocktails and a wide selection of rums, customers can expect relaxed daytime food and drink, with a more traditional Cuban celebration, including live music and dancing when the sun goes down.To compliment the drinks selection, the venue’s Head of Food Innovation spent time in the kitchens of the most authentic restaurants in Cuba to develop a menu that delivers on both taste and originality for the city. The cantina will provide a range of freshly prepared and Cuban inspired dishes; from light lunchtime Tapas to the classic paella or beef skewers. The extensive menu offers a variety of Burritos and Hamburguesas and de Cuba’s guacamole – a specialty with its own secret ingredients freshly made on site. The new venue will create 100 local jobs including glass collectors, bar staff and kitchen aids. Merseyside residents have already filled the majority of management positions, with the general manager, kitchen manager and both assistant managers originating from the Liverpool area. Each member of the new team will receive extensive training to ensure they deliver a true Cuban experience.Clinton Ghent, area and brand manager of Revolución commented; “Our mission at Revolución de Cuba has always been to bring a taste of Cuba and its rich culture to all parts of the UK. For Liverpool we’ve found an amazing team of staff who share our passion for celebrating with great food and drink. They’re set to provide the best experience and service, whether the customer visits just for a quick coffee, or an entire evening of dining and dancing.“Liverpool has some fantastic bars and restaurants but we believe we are bringing something a little bit different to the city. We have a truly fantastic Grade I listed building, with great views, a beautiful outside dining area and lots of history. Scousers are known for their friendly attitudes and warm approach, so we’re very much looking forward to welcoming them to the Cuban way of life.”Occupying the space that once housed Blue Bar & Grill, the unique Revolución de Cuba design is based on a rustic, chic inspired theme. With spinning ceiling fans, vintage furniture and a live music stage, customers will have an original setting to drink, dance and dine.Salsa lessons, networking events and private parties will also be available at Revolución de Cuba once it opens its doors in the city.
