Dare To Dine? Fonseca’s To Host Trio Of Halloween Murder Mystery Nights

Fonseca’s is set to host a trio of Halloween themed Murder Mystery nights for the diner who dares.

On the evenings leading up the spooky occasion (October 29-31), the Stanley Street restaurant will collaborate with local theatre company Jilted Pig to present a night of interactive Murder Mystery alongside a creative Halloween inspired menu.

The downstairs bar at the innovative eatery has recently added an extra two nights to the Murder Mystery run in response to extremely high customer demand.

General Manager Danielle Youds said: “Here at Delifonseca, we really enjoy bringing a variety of unique evenings to our guests to offer something different, while continuing to serve up the inventive and culinary menus we’re so well known for.

“Over the three evenings, our chefs will be cooking up a number of themed dishes with Halloween in mind and we will be encouraging our guests to indulge in solving our Murder Mystery with the help of our very own Detective Rothmere and Constable Jenkins. It’s set to be a very enjoyable occasion.”

The spooky-style menu features dishes including Chicken Liver Pate, Welsh Black Beef Diablo and Duck Apple dessert, alongside vegetarian options such as Roasted Pumpkin Soup and Aubergine Diablo.

In line with the autumnal offerings, the eatery will also be serving up seasonal beers including Brooklyn’s Post Road Pumpkin Ale, Gourd Standard Pumpkin IPA and The Fear Imperial Pumpkin Ale throughout the cooler months.

Danielle added: “The offering has been so popular that two of the nights have already sold out, with remaining tickets for the Thursday night selling fast.

“The team at Fonseca’s is looking forward to the winter months and the celebrations that they bring with them – firstly we will be hosting our trio of Murder Mystery nights followed by an indulgent Thanksgiving feast on November 26. To finish it all off, we’ll be hosting a three-week long Christmas celebration featuring sharing platters to start, mouth-watering main courses and canapé style desserts.”

The Halloween themed Murder Mystery nights are priced £29.95 per head. For more information about Fonseca’s or to book visit or 0151 255 0808
