New leisure attraction at Debenhams building announces more features

GRAVITY Active Entertainment (“Gravity”) has revealed more details of its new flagship venue, which opens later this year in Liverpool ONE.

The 100,000sq ft, £10 million new leisure and hospitality experience will occupy the upper two floors of the former Debenhams.

The concept will introduce the UK-wide brand’s first-ever roof top bar, as well as multi-level e-karting, bowling, urban golf, and a comprehensive food and drink offer. The scale of Gravity Liverpool ONE will mean the brand will offer over 12 unique immersive and experiential activities.

The design is inspired by Japan and uses the latest technology from the UK, Europe and the US. The differentiated offer will provide activities for families, adults, groups, corporates and tourists, with the average dwell time anticipated to be over four hours.  The venue is also the first in Gravity’s portfolio to include an outside space, which will be Liverpool’s largest roof terrace.

Gravity Liverpool ONE is anticipated to attract over 700,000 visitors per year and will employ more than 250 people from the local community.

Michael Harrison, co-founder and chief growth officer at Gravity, said: “This is a significant step in our journey, with the new Liverpool ONE flagship bringing together everything we have learned, as we continue to evolve our experiences to offer something that is truly redefining UK leisure. It has been great working with Grosvenor and its team, all of whom share our passion and commitment to creating something unique in the heart of this fantastic city.”
