New coffee collab coming to Ropewalks

WITH a coffee bar in Baltic Market and a recently opened shop on Lark Lane, Liverpool coffee connoisseurs Press Bros. Coffee are spreading their wings with a new pop-up coming to PINS Social Club from October 27.

Located on Duke Street, the three-storey PINS, which includes twelve bowling lanes, a games room, rooftop bar and events spaces approached brothers Oliver and Tito Press, Directors of Press Bros. Coffee when they started on a plan to update their ground floor area during the Summer.

Explaining the changes to the venue and newly formed partnership, co-founder of PINS, Daniel Gillbanks said: “As we looked towards Autumn we were keen to do more with PINS ground floor where the main Reception and our Diner were located.

“We felt that more of a hotel-style Lobby was needed to make more of the space, where guests can spend some dwell time, feel comfortable working by day or simply socialise in the evening. A coffee offer was essential in delivering this and partnering with the guys at Press Bros. was a no-brainer.”

Works on PINS Lobby are currently being completed and Press Bros. Coffee will be in residence with a La Marzocco FB80 coffee machine at the heart of the operation.

Offering a range of hot and cold drinks daily, house coffee is Press Bros. Coffee’s own blend developed by Neighbourhood Coffee.

Comprised of 50% Brazilian Possess Natural, which gives a chocolatey base, the remaining 30% Rwanda Inzovu and 20% Ethiopian Konga Natural both add some fruity, jammy tones.

The pop-up will also carry some of the guest roasts found in the Lark Lane shop; whilst specialist tea is by Tea Drop.

There will also be a retail element where coffee and tea is available to buy by the bag as well as merchandise from both Press Bros. Coffee and PINS.

Press Bros. Coffee Pop-Up at PINS launches Thursday October 27 and PINS Lobby is open daily from 8am Monday-Friday and from 9am Saturday and Sunday.
