One of Liverpool’s nightlife venues is set to begin a new chapter after being taken over by Amy Gwynn, the owner behind GBar.
The OMG venue will reopen this summer as Campus, a new LGBTQ+ friendly nightlife destination inspired by the energy of house parties, kitchen discos and nights that turn strangers into lifelong friends.
Launching in time for Liverpool Pride, Campus promises an opening weekend packed with entertainment and special guest appearances.
Built around the mantra ‘You Belong Here’, Campus has been designed as an inclusive nightlife experience where individuality is celebrated.
While Campus introduces a bold new identity, the venue will continue to celebrate the performers who have helped make OMG so popular over the years. Its resident queens will remain at the heart of the entertainment programme, joined by resident DJs, themed events and new experiences throughout the week.

We’ve created a venue that’s playful, nostalgic and full of personality, where every room tells a story and everyone is made to feel welcome.

“Amy has been at the heart of Liverpool’s LGBTQ+ nightlife for some years now, and Campus is an exciting opportunity to build on that experience with something completely new. Launching in time for Liverpool Pride makes it even more special, and we’re putting together an incredible line-up of entertainment to make opening weekend one to remember. Campus will officially open this summer, with a Pride launch weekend.
