Liverpool restaurant to serve up Burns Night feast

LIVERPOOL restaurant Delifonseca Dockside holds its annual Burns Night in honour of renowned poet, Robert Burns.

Diners can taste Scottish cuisine among a three-course feast that’s on offer at the Brunswick Way venue, with the menu also including an Irn Bru bramble cocktail on arrival and even a dessert featuring a deep-fried Mars Bar.

The evening, which takes place on Thursday January 25th, will serve up a set menu to Delifonseca guests filled with Scottish cuisine.

Tom Ford, restaurant manager, said: “We’ve always celebrated Burns Night, as people like to start the month off on a quiet note following the buzz of Christmas, so it’s a nice time to get back into the swing of dining out once again.

“Burns Night is a time to enjoy Scottish traditions and celebrate the renowned poet Robert Burns with a classic combination of haggis, neeps, tatties, and a warming dram thrown in for good measure. Our guests also love the fact that we offer a range of desserts, including the chance to sample a deep-fried Mars Bar, providing they’re not already full of the other, superb two-courses.”

Delifonseca’s Burns Night menu is £45 per head and includes a three-course menu. Booking is essential and the menu may be subject to change.
