New gaming and pool bar opens on Bold Street

PUB Invest Group, who run well known popular city centre sites such as Moloko, Level, Rubber Soul Complex, Sgt Peppers and Brooklyn Mixer have launched Playbox on Bold Street.

Set in the basement the venue has taken over what was previously a William Hill Bookmakers. When entering down the stairs customers will be met with a range of games from FIFA on the big screens, classic arcades, pinball machines, multiplayer shoot ’em ups, racing simulators, basketball lanes, air hockey games, pool tables plus several slot machines.

A spokesperson for Pub Invest Group said: “Famously bohemian, Liverpool’s Bold Street has always had an independence and charm unmatched by any other area of the city.
