SCIONTEC DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED has expanded its Sciontec all-inclusive (AI) workspace provision within The Spine, having recently agreed a significant new letting to provide space for a further 75 private workstations within one of the world’s healthiest buildings.
Sciontec AI was officially launched at The Spine on 21st April 2022, within the Royal College of Physicians’ (RCP) space on the first and second floors of the iconic new-build, which is located in Paddington Village at the heart of the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) Innovation District.
Now Sciontec AI’s footprint within the building has expanded to the 10th floor to accommodate a new three-year licence agreement with the University of Liverpool, which will see the globally renowned educational institution occupy c. 5,000 sq ft of serviced space already fitted out to a stunning CAT-A+ finish. The additional half floor plate will provide enough space for 75 desks, breakout spaces, a private kitchenette, phone booths and four glass meeting rooms.
Leanne Katsande head of commercial at Sciontec, said: “We are delighted to be able to provide an increased offering for serviced office type accommodation with flexible terms, and we will continue to work with our partners to meet this ongoing market demand.
“Welcoming the University of Liverpool to The Spine adds another level of dynamism to the Sciontec AI community, and it’s fantastic to see another customer expanding within our workspaces.”
This news comes fresh off the back of Cashplus’ recent expansion within Sciontec AI at The Spine, with a number of other customers having also upgraded to larger suites to accommodate their growing teams.
LYVA Labs, The Pandemic Institute, and Morgan Sindall have all expanded over the past year, working alongside organisations including Ki Partnerships, AHR, Marks & Clerk, MyCardium AI, Survey Hut, KQ Liverpool, HIVE Projects, DataTalon Consulting and The Tree Council, who also call The Spine their home.
Sciontec AI is designed to enable organisations to operate efficient hybrid working, thanks to its simple operational design and cost effective model. It also gives businesses the flexibility to move around the Sciontec portfolio with ease as their needs change.
With plans to scale the offering further across other buildings within the Sciontec property portfolio, including Liverpool City Region’s first operational net zero carbon new build, HEMISPHERE, Sciontec AI has proven to be a popular solution to the post-pandemic workspace.
