Liverpool Gin Party returns this March

LIVERPOOL Gin Party returns to St George’s Hall in March, where guests can expect up to 25 different boutique gins plus live music, magicians and more making a real party atmosphere all set within the grandeur of the Great Hall.

Upon arrival guests will be given their very own souvenir gin glass to use throughout the festival and to take home afterwards. To help on their gin journey, organisers have separated the list in to eight categories.

Maybe it’s the ‘Fruity Gins’ you prefer? Well, they’ve got peach, pineapple, pink, orange and passionfruit and plenty more aside! Or perhaps you’re after something more ‘Herbaceous and Floral’? Well maybe a Mermaid Gin with a beautiful samphire garnish will tempt you.

Alongside a classic London Dry selection, spicy gins, Old Toms and the ‘Unusual Gins’ category, Liverpool Gin Party will also feature a selection of cocktails and gin fizzes. Gin fizz is truly for those who can’t decide between prosecco and gin so why not have both together!

Liverpool Gin Party organisers have been hard at work researching the best, most delectable gins to feature on the bar. The ethos behind the event is quality over quantity. Katie Jones, Festival Director says: ‘We love to feature gins rarely seen in Merseyside. The aim of our gin events is always to bring the very best gins from around the world – you won’t find these in your local pub or supermarket! We really have got something for everyone, whatever your tastes, and we can’t wait to get the party started!”

There will be some tasty artisan food from local heroes Cuthbert’s including hand-carved honey glazed ham, homemade savoury buns and gorgeous sharing platters available to purchase throughout the party. This will be alongside sweet treats from Ridiculously Rich by Alana featuring their famous brownies and cakes.

Then there’s the venue… If you have never been inside this magnificent building, then you are in for treat! The gin revolution marches on – but for the non-believers there will also be a selection of wine, prosecco, draught Budvar lager and soft drinks on offer so no-one goes thirsty.

Standard tickets include entry, glass, programme with taste notes, entertainment and access to the specialist list of gins specially prepared for the Liverpool gin crowd.

VIP tickets are also available and include a complimentary gin and tonic on arrival, a reserved seat in the VIP area and table service – no more queuing at the bar for drinks.

Tickets are purchased in advance online via Eventbrite (link below), so don’t miss out on a truly unique event.
