Charity funds raised at film premier

CAROLYN Hughes PR in association with Radio City’s Cash for Kids and Festive Flowers and Events hosted the Liverpool ‘premiere’ of Mamma Mia – Here We Go Again at The Odeon Cinema in Liverpool One raising thousands of pounds for charity.
With an afterparty held at The Hilton Hotel Liverpool city centre, 150 ‘Dancing Queens’ gave the sequel a massive thumbs up as they danced in the aisles and cheered at the feel good movie which is already set to break previous box office records.
The event raised in excess of £8,000 and was supported by Barclays and Barclaycard.
The event was hosted by Radio City 2’s Claire Simmo, with a rousing guest appearance for a sensational Abba singalong from Radio City’s Peter Price and the afternoon was rounded off with some classic feel-good tunes from Charlie C.
Carolyn Hughes, MD of CHPR said “This is the third Liverpool ‘Premiere’ I have hosted with Radio City’s Cash for Kids and it was incredibly good fun.  A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and raise money for a truly fantastic cause.  We are so grateful to everyone everyone who came along and to Festive Flowers and Events, Owen Drew Candles and Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar for their fantastic support on the day”
