Dogs looking for homes

HERE is this month’s selection of lovely dogs from Dogs Trust Merseyside.

DOG NAME: Beauty

DOG BREED: Crossbreed

Beauty is a steady older lady who loooves to relax! She’s happy doing her own thing but really comes alive when she has her toys – she adores her squeakies and loves to chase after them. Beauty is very much used to her home comforts, and having someone around most of the day, and she’d love a similar set up for her retirement.

Beauty doesn’t mind other quiet dogs as she tends to wander off and do her own thing. She loves human interaction and cuddles, and will be fine with children aged 10 and over.

DOG NAME: Sheila

DOG BREED: Border Collie

Sheila is a sweet, lively girl who may have been a working collie as she likes to round the other dogs up and put them in order! She’s looking for a home with collie experience who will give her lots of exercise and things to keep her mind busy. She loves attention but seems unsure what to do when being fussed!

Sheila gets along with most other dogs but due to her herding, she may need tolerant pals. She will flourish in a home where any children aged 14 and over will enjoy helping with her mental stimulation and exercise.

DOG BREED: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Missy is a happy girl, full of cuddles, who enjoys going out for walkies – she gets very excited when she sees her carers heading her way with her harness. She loves attention, toys and treats and happily she is getting plenty of all three! She’s such a friendly, laid back girl and is going to bring someone an awful lot of joy.

Missy will walk quite happily alongside other dogs, but would prefer to be the only pet so that she can soak up all the attention for herself. She isn’t used to being left alone, so initially she’d love someone in her forever home to be there all day, but once she is settled her new owners can start to leave her for short periods. Missy can live with children aged about 10.
