IT’s not long to go until the brand new Easter celebration, Feast of Fire, will be lighting up St John’s Gardens. Liverpool’s first ever fire garden experience will be heading to the city for only two weekends, from Friday 23rd March for seven nights of incredible fire installations, eclectic music and fire themed food and drink.
As part of the Liverpool 2018’s cultural programme and created by award-winning outdoor arts company Walk the Plank, families and friends will be able to bid adieu to the wintry weather and say hello to spring, with Liverpool’s first ever fire garden. With the Feast of Fire early sessions perfect for the little ones and the unique mix of adult only Feast of Fire Lates, there really is something for everyone.
Taking place the weekend before and the Easter weekend itself, the Feast of Fire early sessions from 6:30pm – 8:30pm provide the perfect opportunity to get the whole family out together to enjoy the burning trail of discovery through Liverpool’s most picturesque gardens. There will be burning sculptures, flaming fire dancing and much more fiery fun, all with the backdrop of the magnificent St George’s Hall.
From 8:30pm – 10:30pm the Feast of Fire Lates will be offering something truly amazing. Teaming up with some of Liverpool’s most well-known cultural organisations including Liverpool Pride, Africa Oyé, the Kazimier and Milapfest, Feast of Fire will not only be showcasing the joys of spring, but also celebrating all that Liverpool has to offer.
