Liverpool Peace Proms returns to Echo Arena

FOLLOWING the huge success of last year’s Liverpool concert, Peace Proms returns to Echo Arena on Saturday 27th January. Sharing a love for music and passion for peace, Peace Proms is a celebration of music, youth, energy and talent on an epic scale.

The critically acclaimed Cross Border Orchestra will perform with the Liverpool Children’s Peace Choir made up of 3,000 Primary School children. The choir will sing a programme filled with family favourites including Disney and Pop Medleys, and powerful peace anthems like Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’. The programme is packed full of fun and has something for everyone – there’s even a Disco Medley for all the mums and dads.

Peace Proms 2018 will be conducted by internationally acclaimed UK music educator Greg Beardsell who is renowned for his extraordinary ability to lead powerful and exhilarating performances. This epic production will also feature a host of stellar soloists and a sensational line up of champion Dancers and Pipers. The performance will feature power-house vocalist Lauren Murphy, Soprano Katie Weir, Tenor Ross Scanlon, rock-violinist Patricia Treacy, All-Ireland Champion Uilleann Piper Cormac Keegan along with the Colmcille Pipe and Drum Corps and the Michelle Johnston Highland Dancers.

Peace Proms is an internationally recognized Arts & Peace initiative, which actively engages over 30,000 school children in Ireland and the UK and is totally not-for-profit.

Schools can still get involved; this Arts & Peace initiative, which actively engages almost 25,000 school children in the UK and Ireland, is a FREE resource and choral education project for Primary schools. Registration for schools can be found at
