Beanz Meanz Liverpool

SCOUSERS have been revealed as some of the biggest beans fans in the UK in Heinz Beanz poll, commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beanz Meanz Heinz slogan this year.

The research shows that:

  • 63% of Liverpudlians eat beans at least once a week
  • Most beans in Liverpool are consumed at dinner time (58.5%)
  • The great people of Liverpool love beans so much, that they can’t live without them…even on holiday! One in five (19%) say they pack beans in their suitcase when they go away

To celebrate the city’s love for all things beans, a special Beanz Meanz Heinz bus will be visiting Liverpool on Monday 30th October 2017, bringing free, seriously tasty beanz dishes to the city from its location in William Square, between 10am and 6pm.

The first 50 people to visit the bus will also be given one of fifty limited edition ‘Beanz Meanz Liverpool’ cans.

Aaron Crinion, Senior Brand Manager at Heinz Beanz, commented: “Liverpool loves beans, that’s for sure! Everyone has a view on what Beanz Meanz to them and we wanted to celebrate 50 years of the Beanz Meanz Heinz by finding out just how much Brits love beans; it’s great to see the vibrant city of Liverpool making the top five.”

Heinz Beanz has also released 50 special, limited edition labels on 15 million cans across the country.

The Heinz Beanz cans will be emblazoned with 50 different versions of the slogan ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’ linked to people’s association with the iconic can.

The exclusive designs will include: ‘Beanz Meanz…Kidz, Spudz, Smilez, Mealz, Mumz, Friendz’ to name a few and Beanz fanz will be able to get their hands on these special cans at supermarkets across Liverpool now, while stocks last.

The exclusive labels will be available on 415g single Heinz Beanz cans and on four can multi-packs. The limited edition cans are available at the standard RRP (single 75p and four pack £2.69).
