New pub to open in Hardman Street

The New World Trading Co CEO Chris Hill

AWARD-winning pub brand The Florist will be opening its doors on 24 Hardman Street in Liverpool at the beginning of 2018.

The venue will aim to provide something for everyone with its famous formula of cocktails and selection of world ale, alongside its vibrant food menu that’s complete with deli, rotisserie and grill-inspired delights.

The collection of clean, fresh and aromatic cocktails are inspired by the elegant surroundings. The menu includes familiar and reassuring favourites, to surprising seasonal twists from the garden along with herbal-enhanced drinks.

For those looking for a beer or ale there are over 60 to choose from around the world. Each beer has been hand-picked for its different flavours and is a mix of well-known and artisan pours.

The Florist will be situated in the former Royal School for the Blind, an 1850’s Grade 2 listed building. The décor is an impressive take on the old and the new, with the combination of Victorian touches, coupled with a striking large central staircase and cosy open fires.

Chris Hill, CEO of The New World Trading Company said: “We are excited to be opening our second Florist in the former Old Blind School pub. The Florist will be following in the success of our other venues, The Club House and Smugglers Cove. We are very much looking forward to immersing The Florist in local life.”

The launch of the new pub will bring new job roles including a range of positions in management, front of house and within the kitchen. Further information on recruitment will be announced in 2018.
