THIS year’s Christmas panto at New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion is Peter Pan which will run from 9 December 2017 until 7 January 2018.
Starring in the role of Captain Hook will be Marc Baylis who is best known for appearing on our TV screens as Rob Donovan from ‘Coronation Street’ and Dan Wright from ‘Cbeebies’ as Mr Smee. Tim Edward is the eponymous hero. Tim’s theatre credits include ‘The Book of Mormon’ and ‘Wicked’.
Sarah-Louise Young is Mrs Darling. Sarah’s previous acting credits include ‘Julie Madly Deeply’ (West End and international tour) and ‘The Jury’. Natalie Hollingworth is Tiger Lily and her most recent theatre role was part of the nationally acclaimed production of ‘Parade’.
This year’s Relaxed Autism-friendly performance will take place on Friday 5th January. This gives the theatre chance to welcome adults and children with special needs (including Autistic Spectrum Conditions and/or learning disabilities) and, crucially, their families to the theatre to a performance where those needs are accounted for with a more relaxed atmosphere and some changes to the production itself if necessary, such as lowering of lights or sound at certain points of the show.
