HERE’S this month’s selection of gorgeous dogs looking for homes from Dogs Trust Merseyside.
Breed: Dorset Old Tyme Bulldog
Dog Age: 8
Benson is the type of boy who makes everyone falls in love with at first sight! He’s a senior Bulldog who will become an instant best friend. He would be happy to spend the rest of his life sprawled on a duvet being fed as he is a little wobbly on his legs and can’t play as much as he’d like to; but he still enjoys a potter about and could potentially make a great companion for someone who isn’t very mobile themselves. He gets along with other quiet dogs and can live with children aged 12 and over.
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Cross
Dog Age: 5
Little Chica just adores attention and company; and will do anything to be made a fuss over! She forms strong attachments to people and just loves being with you – she will play by herself with toys and games but if you play with her, she much prefers that. Chica needs a home where someone will be around for most of the day as she doesn’t enjoy being alone. She gets along well with other calm dogs and can live with children aged 10 and over. She’s also in a foster home so be sure to call the centre first.
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Dog Age: 8
Socks is a typical terrier who loves putting his nose to the ground and having a good sniff to find out what’s been happening. He’s very friendly, with the sweetest nature and enjoys getting a fuss from his canine carers.
Socks will happily walk with any dog but he’s going to need to be the only dog in the home as he can be worried by them if they’re a little too lively. He’s been absolutely no bother whilst at the centre and will make the most wonderful little companion.
