Council launches regeneration website

TODAY, (Friday, 7 July), Liverpool city council has soft launched a brand new website: www.regeneratingliverpool.com

The website aims to showcase the unprecedented volume of schemes currently being undertaken across the city – be it Anfield, Liverpool Waters and the Knowledge Quarter to Ten Streets, Festival Park and Liverpool Housing Partnership, to name just a few.

The intention is to show how the city council is working with partners to create new jobs, new offices and new homes and how it aims to attract new investors to the city to further stimulate and grow the economy.

The website is designed to be both a portal for news and opinion as well as a signpost to the various schemes and assets LCC’s Regeneration Team are working on and have, as well as the services and expert advice they provide.

Created by Liverpool company KADM, the website has been designed to be easy to navigate, complete with engaging content – be it blogs, videos or photo galleries.

The blog will run on a fortnightly format and will feature contributions from both within the council and throughout the regeneration sector. The first has been penned by the Mayor and touches on everything from the 2022 Commonwealth Games bid to WHS status.

The website will also be partnered and promoted by a new Twitter profile: @Regen_Lpool .
