Another award for Mashbo

LIVERPOOL-based digital agency Mashbo is celebrating the awarding of the inaugural Big Chip Leadership Award to managing director & co-founder Gavin Sherratt. The digital agency develops web & mobile applications and cloud based automation software for numerous clients, including the likes of SwissRE, Liverpool Football Club and Danone, celebrated their success at the Big Chip Awards ceremony hosted at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester in front of an audience of 400 industry peers from the best of the north’s digital and tech community. Paul Martynenko, president of awards partner, BCS: The Chartered Institute for IT, added: “I’d like to congratulate all the Big Chip winners, which clearly shows the vibrancy and dynamism of the digital community in the North. “As sponsors of the inaugural Leadership Award, I cannot think of a better winner than Gavin Sherratt, a dynamic entrepreneur who as well as growing his own start-up digital business, has done much to promote the digital future of the North.” Gavin Sherratt, managing director and co-founder of Mashbo also commented:“To receive the award was a total shock and when my name was announced it didn’t seem real. “But to receive the award is a great honour for the collective team especially my fellow co-founders Steve Todd and Liam Potter. This award highlights the hard work and hours that have gone into building our business. “It supports the digital and tech community work that we have been doing for the last 3 years via our Creative Kitchen brand organising sector meet ups and championing Liverpool as a centre of digital excellence. “I’m proud of my team and partners and this award is a collective award as we can’t grow without a great team.” As part of Mashbo’s continued sector engagement they will soon be releasing details of their Creative Kitchen programme for September through to December whilst also continuing to champion some of the city’s other digital and tech engagement activities such as Innovators Hub’s new Catalyst programme and BIMA events in Liverpool.
