The Brain Charity hosts first Sportsman’s Dinner

THE Brain Charity, a local charity in Liverpool has teamed up with Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy to put on an evening of entertainment for their first ever Sportsman’s Dinner. The great attacking full-back, who had a knack of scoring vital goals, will be sharing some of his favourite stories and anecdotes from his days at LFC. As well as hearing from Alan, the evening will include a 2-course dinner, comedy from home-grown Liverpudlian comedian Frankie Allen, all compered by Roger ‘The Wingwalker’ Devonside. There will also be a raffle with the chance to win some unique and exclusive sporting prizes and signed memorabilia. The Brain Charity’s Sportsman’s Dinner will take place at Liverpool Cricket Ground in Aigburth on Saturday 20th May 2017. Tickets are £30 and the dress code is smart but not too formal. All proceeds go to fund The Brain Charity’s life-changing work, offering emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their friends, families and carers. There are 12.5 million people living with a neurological condition in England alone. That’s 1 in every 6 people. Tickets are also available from the charity’s website shop: www.thebraincharity.org.uk/shop/tickets Tables of 10 are available.
