VISIT the Bluecoat on 8 April to find yourself the perfect one-of-a-kind print, handmade by independent artists exhibiting at Liverpool Print Fair. Liverpool Print Fair is an affordable art fair gathering the very best artists and designers who print using traditional methods. The fair is a joint venture from The Print Social and the Blucoat Print Studio, and is a celebration of printmaking in a variety of forms including screen printing, linocut, etching, and woodcut. As well as plenty of affordable art, the Bluecoat will also be hosting a number of family friendly print activities and workshops for all ages. You can try your hand at screen printing, or pop next door to Cass Art and make your very own linocut prints to take home. There will also be a raffle on the day with some amazing prizes to be won. Prizes range from spaces on the Bluecoat printing workshops, to Cass Art goodie bags full of arty supplies or vouchers to spend at Awesome Merchandise. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards improving the Bluecoat Print Studio facilities, which are available to the public for hire. Admission is free and the fair is open from 10.30am to 5pm You can RSVP to the event on Facebook, or find information about the fair on the website at liverpoolprintfair.co.uk.
