Be Bold For Change – Celebrate International Women’s Day At Launch 22

THIS Wednesday 8th March, International Women’s Day ’17 will be taking place throughout the world, set to inspire and ignite the potential in all women and celebrate their political, social, economic, and cultural achievements.

Also known as the United Nations (UN) Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace, the annual celebration has been observed since 1911, where more than one million women and men attended IWD rallies campaigning for women’s rights to work, vote, be trained, to hold public office and end discrimination.

This year’s theme is #BeBoldForChange, encouraging men, women, and non-binary people to shape a society which unleashes the potential of all women across the globe.

Launch 22 Liverpool, a co-working space based in the city’s fast-developing business quarter, shares this passion for inclusiveness; supporting those striving to be bold by starting and running their own business.

They will be hosting an array of talks, workshops, classes, and live music, as well as offering free access for women to use their innovative working space throughout the day.
