Have Your Say On Latest Liverpool Waters Plans

LIVERPOOL residents, businesses and city stakeholders are invited to have their say on the latest development announced as part of the Liverpool Waters scheme.

Peel Land and Property and Liverpool-based the Regenda Group have designed a high-quality residential tower situated in the heart of the £5.5bn Liverpool Waters project.

The development, named ‘Plaza 1821’ after the year Princes Dock was first opened, is the third development within Liverpool Waters announced since September 2016.

Local residents, businesses and stakeholders are welcome to attend a public consultation event on:

Date:               Friday 10th February 2017
Time:               11am – 6pm
Location:         Liverpool Waters Marketing Suite, 4th floor, No. 12 Princes Dock, Liverpool,  L3 1BG.

The new development proposals include 105 one and two bed apartments, as well as ground floor retail/amenity outlets, being built as part of the £21m development.

Neil Baumber, Peel Land and Property’s development director for residential, said: “Liverpool Waters is certainly one of the most dynamic regeneration projects in the city’s history and it’s now really starting to take shape. People in the city and beyond are really excited about what’s to come as we are at Peel.

“As part of our ‘Strategic Waters’ strategy we are committed to creating a vibrant, energised and distinctive new part of the city, a place where people want to work, play and live – that’s where Plaza 1821 comes in. People sit at the very heart of Liverpool Waters, hence why we’re encouraging everybody to come along to the public consultation event to see our plans and share their thoughts.”

Martin Davies, director of development at Regenda, said: “Plaza 1821 is a landmark project for Regenda. It marks our biggest ever investment – made even more special because it’s right here in Liverpool, where we’re proudly based. The vision for Liverpool Waters is truly spectacular, something that will further enhance our city region.

“We recognised this unique opportunity to work with Peel to create a distinctive scheme with a ‘wow factor’ worthy of Liverpool’s waterfront. We’re really excited to share our vision with residents and businesses alike, and we’re looking forward to hearing what they have to say about our plans.”
