Bongo’s Bingo Announce B*Witched Shows

BONGO’S Bingo in Liverpool is the HQ of the increasingly UK-wide phenomenon taking in more and more cities, featuring its raucously distilled mayhem each and every time with Jonny Bongo at the riotous and ironic helm.

In less than two years, the show has become a pivotal part of the Scouse landscape, not only with twice-weekly sold out shows at the Camp and Furnace but imprinting itself on the city’s cultural calendar in a more indelible way; the wild scenes each night, taking in such a vibrant demographic from across the region, are indicative of a seismic shift happening in Liverpool’s nighttime agenda.

One of the foundations of Bongo’s Bingo are its occasional special guests. They are very proud to announce two St Patrick Day specials with B*Witched, the feisty Irish quartet making a very welcome return on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th March. The youngest girl group ever to reach number one in the UK pop charts, the band’s members vocalist Edele Lynch, her guitar-playing twin sister Keavy, keyboardist Sinead O’Caroll and guitarist Lindsay Armaou are famed for their classic tracks including C’est La Vie and Rollercoaster. Tickets for these shows will sell out very, very quickly, and they go on sale from Wednesday 1st February from 6pm.

And speaking of tickets, for all Liverpool shows the following month’s worth of events will now go on sale from the 1st of every month at 6pm. So on February 1st all tickets for March will go on sale, including for B*Witched, then on March 1st all tickets for April will go on sale, and so on. With the demand so high and many thousands of people trying to buy tickets, the team at Bongo’s Bingo want to make it as fair as possible to buy tickets for the shows they want.

Organiser Joshua Burke says: “It’s crazy really the demand for tickets we are seeing, especially in Liverpool but also all over the UK. For example, there’s a waiting list of close to 10,000 for the two Vengaboys shows, which is just bonkers! So we are trying to make it as fair for everyone to get tickets, by putting them all on sale for each month in one go. With so many shows happening in Liverpool, we feel this is a better way to let everyone choose when they want to go, rather than releasing shows bit by bit. We have been listening to our customer’s feedback and are acting on it.”

Bongo’s Bingo reaches its 2nd birthday in April in Liverpool, with a very special weekend of shows planned for somewhere in the city. News will come soon.
