THE team behind the dark, scary theatrical storytelling shows at St George’s Hall Liverpool are back next week with their most chilling show yet. Lovehistory Ltd presents the third in its series of ‘Lovehistory Loves’ events – and this time the spotlight falls on tales of the city’s most haunted episodes. Liverpool Loves…Hauntings! will once again be staged in the historic theatrical setting of the Concert Room in St George’s Hall on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November. The show is co-produced by Bill Elms. Such was the success of the previous two shows in the series, this is the first time that the Lovehistory Loves series has been extended to cover performances across two evenings. Liverpool Loves…Hauntings will feature four stories of bygone Victorian Liverpool – Mulgrave Street Mystery; Devil Visitations In Bootle; The Mystery of Annie Smith and The Hauntings At Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse. Judy McLean, Creative Director of Lovehistory, said: “We’re delighted to be heading back to the spectacular Concert Room at St George’s Hall with our latest production in the Lovehistory Loves series – and we certainly have some of Liverpool’s most intriguing and haunted tales to share with our audience. Through our various productions at St George’s Hall, both this series and our tours of the hidden catacombs, we’ve built up a very loyal following who return each time for the latest instalment. So we’re looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces, as well as meeting audience members coming to experience a Lovehistory show for the very first time – it’s something they are guaranteed not to forget.” Co-producer Bill Elms added: “After two successful productions in this series, we’re back with what may be the darkest and most chilling tales yet. The stories of Liverpool’s criminal and murderous past sparked people’s imagination – and this time our audience can experience stories of local hauntings over two nights, using every nook and cranny of the Concert Room, they are sure to be chilled to the bone and be sure to look behind you.” For further information, visit www.lovehistory.co.uk or www.stgeorgesliverpool.co.uk.
