MEMBERS of the public are invited to attend NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. The AGM meeting will take place at The Conference Centre at LACE, Croxteth Drive, Liverpool, L17 1AA between 1pm – 2pm. It will provide an opportunity for people to find out more about the CCG’s work during 2015/16 and will include a presentation of the 2015/16 Annual Report and Accounts, as well as a Question and Answer session. Questions can be submitted beforehand by e-mailing the CCG Communications Team at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions can be submitted until Monday, September 5, 2016. The meeting is open to members of the public, partners and staff, with tea and coffee available from 12.30pm onwards. Members of the public are also welcome to attend the CCG’s Governing Body meeting, which will take place immediately after the AGM. Chair of NHS Liverpool CCG, Dr Nadim Fazlani, said: “We’ve had an extremely busy year with many high achievements, not least recently being rated as ‘good’ by NHS England, which is no mean feat in the current financial climate. “Our work this year has seen us make a significant investment in local community organisations, primary care and providers that are helping us to deliver real improvements to local health services. “We’re very keen to hear the thoughts of local people about what we are doing and for the people of Liverpool to become more involved in the work of the CCG. I would encourage anyone with an interest in local health services to come along and find out more about our work and plans for the future.” If you would like to attend the AGM meeting, you can confirm your attendance by contacting the Communications team on email@example.com or by calling 0151 296 7652.
