Applications Open For BFI Film Academy

IF you’re aged 16-19 and not in university and would love a career in film then there’s an opportunity for you this Autumn. FACT is delivering BFI Film Academy in collaboration with professional filmmakers where you’ll have the opportunity to make a short film as part of a crew. The programme aims to build students’ confidence and skillsets by giving practical experience in the film industry and an understanding of the wider sector and the roles available. Participants will also build a network of like-minded and creative people. FACT are looking for the most driven, passionate people to join the crew, regardless of background or ability. The cost of the course is £25 but bursaries are available on application. All sessions will take place on weekends or during half term. You can download the application form from www.fact.co.uk.
