We are very lucky to have such a well-maintained and well-used facility, and the summer programme is a great chance, particularly for young people to learn about sailing.‘We are pledged to offer leisure and cultural opportunities for all as part of our 2020 council plan, and watersports develops a strong sense of discipline. Of course it’s also fun just to get out and enjoy the water.’For more information on events and activities at Wirral Sailing Centre, visit www.wirral.gov.uk/watersports, call 0151 625 3292 or go to the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/westkirbymarinelake
