Dr Maurice Smith, Local GP and CCG Clinical Director for Living Well said, “We had a really enjoyable few days taking part in the corporate games, and personally, winning a medal for my tennis skills was a very proud moment indeed. “Physical activity is the single best thing someone can do to help improve their health and wellbeing, Team Healthy Liverpool is leading from the front to help inspire others.” Dianna Mannhart of Liverpool CCG added: “This is a fantastic show of Liverpool’s public services coming together to lead the way in promoting physical activity. “Everybody’s efforts contributed towards our point score; placing us in 16th out of 51 organisations! This is absolutely brilliant. We made it onto many of the leader boards in the various sports. “The highlight was at the parade when the Lord Mayor of Liverpool gave Team Healthy Liverpool a personalised shout out, praising and congratulating us.”
