Date Set For Liverpool SoulFest 2016

SOUL Inspired CIC and Soul Inspired Events have announced that Liverpool SoulFest 2016 will take place at Arts Club Liverpool on Saturday, 8th October.

Following the success of last year’s event, which was headlined by British soul royalty Gabrielle, Liverpool SoulFest 2016’s main event will take place at Seel Street’s Arts Club, taking over both auditoriums in the venue on Saturday 8th October with massive headliners and exciting young artists. Once the live music finishes, the main auditorium will house Superbad DJs until the early hours for an all-night soul train dance-a-thon.

Over the course of the weekend, specially commissioned events will take place in various venues across the city. Festival founder Saeed Olayiwola said; “We are so thrilled to be bringing Liverpool SoulFest back for 2016. Last year was a monumental event for us, and we can’t wait to see our ideas for 2016 come to fruition!”

Further details will be announced in the coming weeks, and artists and DJ’s are encouraged to contact Liverpool SoulFest to express their interest to perform.

Liverpool SoulFest launched in 2015 with British soul legend Gabrielle and Mercury-nominated ESKA topping the bill, and was a labelled a “truly astonishing” achievement by influential Liverpool music blog Getintothis.

Soul Inspired Events have been running soulful events in Liverpool since 2012.
