Oktoberfest Returns To Liverpool

OKTOBERFEST is coming back to Liverpool’s Pier Head for a festive weekend from 22nd – 25th September. The organizers of World Wide Oktoberfest tour have announced a grand comeback of Oktoberfest to Liverpool after the success of last year’s event. “The mood at our event is as good as the one in Munich.”, said Carsten Raun, Festival Director. “One thing the British and the German have in common is the joy of life with a nice beer, so Oktoberfest is a perfect place to meet.” Liverpool Oktoberfest is celebrated in a giant marquee with a capacity of 1,500 seats and a German band will entertain guests all night. The beer on offer, Bavarian Festbeer, is a true German beer (ABV 5%) and brewed according to German purity law. As well as the beer, a selection of German food specialties will also be on offer including: Schnitzel (deep-fried pork cutlet), prezel (twist-knot bread), Händel (grilled chicken) and Schweinebraten (roast pork).  On Sunday, a Bavarian-special lunch will be available for families to enjoy. Liverpool Oktoberfest is open from 22-25 September at Pier Head. Entrance is free on Thursday & Sunday, £5 on Friday and £10 on Saturday. The event is 18+, except for Sunday when kids are allowed to get in for free. For more details visit www.Liverpool-oktoberfest.co.uk, email: info@liverpool-oktoberfest.co.uk or phone 020 3239 1408
