A UK exclusive photographic exhibition from Pattie Boyd, former wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton has launched today at the Beatles Story at Liverpool’s Pier Head. The exhibition, which features 57 original images will be open to the public until Autumn 2016. Pattie, a former supermodel, selected the images from her personal archives and they provide an intimate insight into her life with two musical icons. ‘George, Eric and Me’ is the first time Pattie’s photographs have been displayed in the UK. The collection also features the musician’s friends including the other members of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood. Pattie Boyd said: “I’m delighted that my images are now on display at The Beatles Story. Whilst I unfortunately I can’t be there in person today, I am looking forward to visiting the attraction soon to enjoy the exhibition.” Pattie was unable to attend the launch after injuring her hip and elbow in an accident while out walking her dog. Martin King of The Beatles Story said: “We are thrilled to launch this exhibition today at The Beatle’s Story and that Pattie has chosen the attraction to house this collection of images. “The images on display are truly beautiful snap shots of Pattie’s life with two of the greatest musicians of all time. Through Pattie’s lens we are able to see a rare glimpse into unguarded moments and it is a pleasure to be able to share these images with music fans.” The exhibition, which is being hosted in association with KT Promotions, will open to the public tomorrow May 6.
