The Echo Arena Liverpool, venue for the 2016 inaugural event, will once again host many of the world’s finest riders, with Rio Olympians among the possible entrants. Special celebrations are planned for 31 December including a performance from the Abba tribute band Revival, who will be performing throughout the show, and another exciting music act for New Year’s Eve only that will be confirmed shortly. The Liverpool International has already made its mark, with 2016 Liverpool Grand Prix winner Billy Twomey stating: “To get a show kicked off in the first year and have big crowds was really impressive. It is an unbelievable show.” And Britain’s Will Funnell, a 2013 European team gold medallist who was a class winner at Liverpool with the brilliant stallion Billy Congo, added: “You run out of superlatives for this show. You could see with the riders that we really enjoyed it. The whole thing was just fantastic.” Equestrian.com Liverpool International Horse Show president Nina Barbour said: “After the spectacular success of our first Liverpool show, we are looking forward to what will be another memorable three days, packed with everything that is best about world-class sport and entertainment for all the family.” To book tickets log on to www.echoarena.com Call the Echo Arena Box Office on 0844 8000 400* *CALLS COST 5P PER MINUTE PLUS YOUR PHONE COMPANY’S ACCESS CHARGE Tickets are also available via www.ticketquarter.co.uk or TicketQuarter Queen Square.
