Epstein Easter Panto Launch

THE city’s media were invited to the press launch of the Epstein’s Easter panto today (24 February). LHK Productions’ Snow White will play at the theatre from 24 March – 6 April. The panto stars Celebrity Big Brother winner James Hill and the Royle Family’s Ricky Tomlinson. Ricky will be playing the Magic Mirror in a role that will be filmed for the show. On joining the show Ricky said: “I am delighted to be part of the Easter panto with LHK Productions, it is a perfect role for me, I appear in 27 performances and don’t even need to leave my comfortable, trusty armchair! Remote at the ready, this is going to be a barrel of fun.” Producer Lee Kelly added: “We are absolutely thrilled that Ricky has decided to be filmed to play the Magic Mirror, this really is the icing on the cake of what is already a fabulous cast for our Easter panto, Snow White.” James Hill, who shot to fame by winning The Apprentice, said: “I’m so excited to be doing my first panto with LHK Productions. It will be great to spend some time in Liverpool and playing Prince Charming will be fun…he taught me everything I know!”Snow White cast Joining James and Ricky will be Radio Merseyside presenter Debi Jones as the Wicked Queen and local actress Georgia Austin will be making her debut in a leading role as Snow White while panto favourite Michael Chapman will be fulfilling the role of pantomime dame.
