An Evening With Gazza At The Epstein

THE Epstein Theatre on Hanover Street has announced that Gascoigne – The Live Show is coming to Liverpool on Thursday, 25th February 2016.

The night of entertainment includes live comedy, football memorabilia auctions and music. An England international footballer, Gascoigne is particularly remembered for his England caps. He earned 57 appearances for his country and is described by the National Football Museum as “the most naturally gifted English midfielder of his generation.”

Gazza was part of the England squad that reached fourth place in the 1990 World Cup, where he was famously reduced to tears after receiving a yellow card in the semi-final with West Germany, meaning he would be suspended for the final itself, had England won the game.  The former Everton player also helped the England team to the semi-finals of Euro 1996; once again embedding himself in the nation’s hearts and minds with a spectacular goal against Scotland – coupled with the memorable “Dentist’s Chair” goal celebration.

Gazza’s shows are currently receiving great acclaim around the UK and coming off the back of his recent successful documentary film, Gascoigne, fans will be able to hear the full life story of Gazza in his own words, and even meet him for a photo at the Epstein Theatre.

Epstein Theatre General Manager Rebekah Pichilingi commented: “We’ve seen a number of sporting legends take to the Epstein stage over the last few years and we are now looking forward to welcoming Paul Gascoigne which promises to be a real treat for football fans!”

Comedian Jed Stone will also be performing on the night and you can also grab yourself a piece of Gazza history in the memorabilia auction and raffle.

Co-promoter Tony Dunn added: “Paul is currently touring the UK and is on top form. The show is doing fantastically well and is selling out everywhere. But, having played for Everton,  Paul is particularly looking forward to come back to Liverpool!”

Standard tickets cost £30. VIP tickets are also on sale which include a photo with Gazza and front row seats.
