THE Squire of Knotty Ash has been outspoken over the years about the content of newspapers. He believes that every paper should have a ‘Happiness Page’ so he was discumknockerated to see Good News Liverpool filled with happiness from cover to cover.
The 88-year-old is still busy touring and brought his Happiness Show back to Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall for two nights at the end of last year. The theatre believes he must be their longest serving ‘customer’ staging his end of year shows there for more than 25 years.
